  • Pureline selection from Eppodumvendron Local type

  • Average yield 200-250 fruits/tree
  • Yield -53t/ha
  • Suitable for 3-4 ratoons

Moringa PKM 2

  • Derivative of cross between MP 31 and MP 38
  • Pods are 126 cm longwith 70 % flesh
  • Individual fruit weight 280 g
  • Yield 98 t / ha.

Moringa ODC 3

  • The fruits are fleshy and tasty.
  • The trees flower within 3-4 months of sowing and pods are harvestable in 6 months.
  • The trees grow to a height of 8–10 feet in a year and produce 6-10 primary branches.
  • The flowers are in clusters of 50–200 per cluster.
  • Only one pod usually develops from each cluster, and rarely 3-5.
  • The pods are 2 feet to 2.5 feet long with a girth of 2.5 inches and weight of 70 – 80 grams with 80 % flesh.
  • The average yield of the variety is 300 fruits per tree.
  • The estimated yield is around 25 -30 tons per acre per year

Small Onion CO 5

  • It is a high yielding variety developed by mass pedigree method of selection.
  • This variety has the ability of free flowering and seed set throughout Tamil Nadu.
  • It possess high bulb yield 18.9 t/ha (18.8 per cent higher than CO.4) in a crop duration of 90 days.
  • It is free flowering type with seed setting ability of 250-300 kg/ha and so it is propagated through seeds.
  • March–July for bulb production and November– January for seed production.
  • It possesses attractive pink coloured bold size bulbs. The total soluble solids content is 13 per cent.
  • The pungency principal measured as pyruvic acid is 2.37 µm/g of fresh weight.
  • It is adaptable to Coimbatore, Trichy, Pudukottai, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Theni, Madurai, Namakkal, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, Thoothukudi, Erode and Dharmapuri districts.

Cluster Bean Pusa Navbahar

  • Non branching variety with pod quality of Pusa Mausmi.
  • Developed by crossisng Pusa Domausami and Pusa Sadabahar.
  • Reaches 50 % flowering at 42nd day of sowing
    Yields upto 130 fruits per plant @ 2.7 gram fruit weight, 163 grams per plant & 4 tonners per acre
  • Tolerant to wide range of pest and diseases
